I grew up in NY state and lived most of my life on the west coast. We moved to Oklahoma in 2021 because the west had became so conformist, anti-freedom...evil.
Oklahoma may or may not be considered the south but my wife and I love the people here. So friendly, so much love for Jesus and personal freedom. I'll take tornadoes and rattlesnakes over tyrants, any day.
The transition of the South over the course of the 20th century, an upward trend in prosperity and cultural growth, is the new story yet to be fully acknowledged and studied, especially in comparison to what has happened in the rest of the country.
For those Southern born and bred it is simply The War.
Where I was raised it was always “The War of Northern Aggression.”
